Morse Marine Bearings feature a fluted liner of Trellex rubber, which protects the shaft from abrasion for long trouble-free life. Lubrication water flushes out any abrasive material through grooved channels. The outer housing is permanently bonded to rubber bearing surface. The highly efficient elastohydrodynamic bearing principle used in Morse Marine Bearings insures long service life and operating economy. These bearings support the propeller shaft. They are lubricated by water. These bearings are non-polluting and require less maintenance because no oil or seals (which can fail) are required. |
