Radial Contact Bearings (Deep Groove Bearings)
Timken Super Precision (MPB) Radial Contact Bearings are available in
inch and metric sizes. All bearings are manufactured to ABEC 7P tolerances.
Standard Radial Play is .0002/.0008" and other ranges are available upon
request. Shields, seals, flange, and extended inner rings are all available
within the standard specifications. Bearings will be lubed with a protective
coating of MIL-PRF-6085 oil. Other lubrications are also available. Bearings
will be packaged either individually in pill pack strips or in a vial pack. (See

Angular Contact Bearings
Timken Super Precision (MPB) Angular Contact Bearings are available in
inch and metric sizes. All bearings are manufactured to ABEC 7P tolerances.
Bearings are assembled to yield a nominal contact angle with ±3º. Other
tolerances are available upon request. Bearings will be lubricated with a vacuum
impregnation of the phenolic retainer with MIL-PRF-6085 oil. Other lubricants

Radial Contact Bearings (Deep Groove Bearings)
Timken Super Precision (MPB) Thin Section and Torque Tube Conrad Bearings
are available in sizes up to 6.5 inch OD. The ball grooves are honed for
precision, low torque, and quiet operation. The deep groove construction allows
for handling of radial, thrust or combination loads. While offered primarily
with 440C stainless steel rings and balls with a one-piece fully machined
snap-in phenolic cage, other material and separator options are available for

Angular Contact Bearings
Timken Super Precision (MPB) Thin Section and Torque Tube Angular Contact
Bearings have been developed to offer maximum ball complement with a one-piece
precision-machined retainer and are available in sizes up to 6.5" OD. The ball
grooves are honed for precision, low torque, and quiet operation. The increased
ball complement, combined with a relatively high contact angle, maximizes axial
stiffness. Rings and balls are normally 440C stainless steel, but other material

Fractured Race Bearings
Timken Super Precision (MPB) Fractured Race Bearings have outer races
that are radially fractured in one location. This permits the race to be opened
for complete flexibility in the choice of ball complement and separator in a
deep groove radial bearing. High strength, stainless steel holding bands are
then pressed on the ground shoulders to retain tight abutment and perfect
alignment of the fractured surface during handling and normal operation. Years
of experience have proven that in most applications, the bearing functions as if
it had never been fractured. Fractured race bearings are available in both full

Timken Super Precision (MPB) Dental Bearings critical components - including balls and bore dimensions - meet ABEC 9 standards. Standard Radial Play is .0002/ .0004". Bearing material is N-Dur Steel, which is harder and more corrosion resistant than standard 440C steels. Our outer ring ball cage piloting improves the performance of the bearing and enhances cage stability. Dental bearings are produced with the life extending 7-ball complement. Bearings will be lubed with a protective coating of oil or grease. Bearings will be packaged either individually in pill pack strips or in a vial pack.
